This assignment was to develop a print publication concept that was creatively fresh, grabbed the reader's attention, and contained actionable information on top issues for Operators in the Food Service Industry. So where else to go but with some creative latitude and adding a pinch of fun.
A unique publication distributed nationally in two languages (with a very specific target audience) for a market research division of a company involved in the Food Service Industry nationwide.
  • Develop the publication name and create a layout template.
  • Develop the publication name logo
  • Write copy, research, review / expand / edit submissions.
  • Plan flow and position of key and secondary articles and information.
  • Submit drafts at appropriate intervals for review and approvals.
  • Collaborate with service bureau on print specifications.

Russ Ohlson has been the Official Photographer for four of the past five Presidential Inaugurations in partnership with friend and photographer Paul Skipworth. Russ has also received an honorary Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America.
An ecommerce site currently under renovation to better communicate by reworking the copy and graphics for an easier user friendly navigation and customer support.

Marc began instructing PhotoShop online for HP, which led to a number of new teaching assignments. Eventually he was engaged to create courses in Digital Photography and PhotoShop Elements for various corporate sites.
Large companies are realizing the value of hosting free online courses developed and guided by qualified instructors. It brings students into their web environments with exposure to their marketing and products.
  • Prepare, review, or modify Course Scope Proposals for specified course subjects.
  • Author the lessons content, quizzes, assignments, and create associated graphics, visuals, and examples supporting the subject or software application course.
  • Meet completion targets, and develop the course content according to exacting formatting standards.
  • Collaborate with editors on any content questions.
  • Occasionally report content changes, and clarifications.
